Falling for Layers

So fall is great and all but I am not as thrilled as the rest of humanity when it comes. To me fall means cold weather and that is one thing I am certainly not a fan of.
Every morning when I wake up I check the temperature to figure out what to wear. This morning the temperature was in was in the upper 40’s and I  almost didn’t get out of bed (and its only mid-October). The hard part about living in the south is that in the mornings it is in the upper 40’s but by 3 PM its 70 so dressing for both means a lot of layers.
Below are some of my favorite pieces for fall that will  take you right into winter.
Its Fall Yall

L.L. Bean Sweater I am in love with this sweater. I want it in every color and I want to wear it every single day!!

Madewell Flannel Shirt Flannel, duh! I absolutely love the details on the inside of the sleeves. Makes it a little more fun! (Madewell is on the Partner’s Card so I am waiting to buy it.)

Hunter Wellies for us southerners, this is the closest thing we’ve got to an actual snow boot. Add the socks for extra warmth on snow/snowpocolypse days.

Old Navy Bucket Bag 25% off with code TREAT through 10/18. I have this is a light brown and it goes everywhere with me. Its big enough to fit my DSLR camera and a rain jacket yet doesn’t look too bulky. I am seriously considering getting the black too! There is an awesome emerald color which I am obsessed with as well!

Blanket Scarf I just got my blanket scarf in the mail a few days ago and I have pretty much worn it every day since. So comfy and warm!

Nest Holiday Candle  The best thing you will ever smell! This is the smell that I think of when I think of Christmas. My mom has had one for years and I just recently got my own for this holiday season. I am just dying to light it! These candles sell out closer to the holidays so buy yours today!

Vest: Old Navy (old). Similar here and here and here and here.
