Friday Funday

Whenever I get bored I find myself on Pinterest and when I find myself bored with Pinterest I get on Etsy. A few months ago I was looking through for a typography print that would fit a frame I bought. (I didn’t realize while purchasing the frame that it was somewhat of an unusual size) I was having trouble finding anyone that carried the size I wanted until I stumbled upon Cheyenne Lyons Designs. In her shop there were several pre-made prints that were all so cute but what I really loved was that you could create a custom print and the price was based on word count.

I had a quote picked out and referenced the pre-made prints to show the styles that I liked. I basically told her to do what she wanted because I loved them all! A few days later she sent me a few different options to choose from which were all different styles. She asked what I liked best and if there were any changes I would like – this girl was awesome! She really cared about making the print exactly like I envisioned it and wanted it to be perfect – which it was!

I picked the one that I liked and she mailed it to me!

And that's how you do it sis! Cheyenne Lyons Designs

How do you think it turned out??

I completely recommend her shop to everyone! She is very talented and so nice!

Calling All Atlanta Folks!!  Tomorrow in Piedmont Park from noon to 8 PM is the 3rd Annual Atlanta Street Food Festival. Tickets are $10.50 per wristband or $25 for four wristbands (which seems like a better deal to me). So grab three friends and help support The Giving Kitchen (TGK) which provides crisis grants to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardships who live in metro-Atlanta.

There are 40 food truck anticipated to be at the festival. Some of the food featured on the website includes: chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, Georgia peach caprese salad, and blue cheese fries. YUM!

There will also be musical entertainment from local bands to enjoy while grubbing out. The lineup is as follows: 12:45 Gritz, Jelly & Butter 2:00 Latrese Bush 2:30 Jerry on the Moon 5:30 Bird City Revolutionaries 7:00 Secondhand Swagger

Attendance is free but if you want to eat and drink then you have to have a wristband – and its all for a great cause.

Hope to see you there!
