Yet another reason to love Fitbit…Customer Service!

Two packages came in the mail yesterday and I am so excited to write about them!! Who doesn’t love coming home to goodies in the mail!?

TA DA- the big reveal: a new Fitbit Flex and Love + Salt Beach Hair and Body Mist. I know what you are probably thinking 1) you already have a Fitbit and 2) why did you just spend money on salt water? So here is my explanation….

As everyone can tell by now, I LOVE MY FITBIT but recently I was getting very aggravated when attempting to charge it because it wouldn’t charge. I would have to keep adjusting it and holding it in different positions until the lights would start to blink. Then I couldn’t breathe or else they might go off and I would have to start the whole process over again. Needless to say, it was a very frustrating process.

I read in all the Fitbit discussion boards that it helps to tie a rubberband around it to apply the pressure – which worked for a little while but a few weeks later it was back to the struggle. Then I read to clean the part on the end that connects to the charging station with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip. Once again that worked for a little but it did not last long.

I was confused if it was the charging station of my actual Fitbit that was causing the issue so I decided to test it. For my mom’s birthday I got her a Flex and I tried her charging station to see if it was the charger or the tracker which was causing the problems. Unfortunately, it was my tracker and not the charging station which broke my heart. I had read in the discussion boards that Fitbit would replace the charging station and I was worried I was completely out of luck.

After realizing it was my tracker, I reached out to Fitbit about other ways to fix it. I explained all the different tricks I had tried and how nothing was working. They were very responsive and got the necessary information in order to replace my tracker. I was shocked and ecstatic! On the 16th they said that a replacement would be heading my way soon and it was delivered yesterday.

I am absolutely overjoyed at the astounding customer service that Fitbit has! It warms my heart that a company I support and recommend to everyone cares about its customers and takes the necessary actions to resolve any problems. I am not sure about the customer service of other activity trackers but if you are on the fence about which one to get – I 100% recommend getting a Fitbit!

I got navy this time to change it up!

The second item was Love + Salt Beach Hair and Body Mist. I initially read about this product on Refinery 29 and then then saw it mentioned in US weekly and thought I’d give it a try. I’m not usually one to randomly buy products but after getting a haircut I wasn’t particularly happy with, I will try anything! The reviews said it would provide hair with body and texture without giving you the crunch and can also be used as a body mist to rejuvenate skin. Why not give it a try!

I haven’t had the chance to use it yet but I will be sure to post results soon! Stay tuned! It is also sold at Anthropologie and in a mini bottle if you’d like to give it a try as well!
